About You

You are a proactive DevOps Engineer who enjoys building, automating, and maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure. You take ownership of environments end to end from access management and CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes workloads and you thrive in fast-paced environments where stability, security, and scalability are critical. You're looking for a role where you can grow your cloud expertise, influence infrastructure decisions, and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services, particularly IAM, RDS, and EKS.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Solid background designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and container orchestration concepts.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash (desirable).
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, permissions, and access management.
- Advanced English proficiency, as you will collaborate with global and US-based teams.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

- Provision and manage AWS accounts, organizational permissions, IAM roles, and cost monitoring.
- Manage and support both employee and organizational infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Handle workstation setups, configurations, and deprovisioning during employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Implement, manage, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Oversee AWS IAM roles and permissions for users, services, and applications.
- Maintain and optimize microservices infrastructure on AWS EKS.
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure, reliable, and efficient deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and automation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, security, and cost optimization.
