Role overview

We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be the analytical and creative engine for several founder-led, growth-stage clients. You'll own and uplevel financial models and dashboards, then turn raw numbers into clear, compelling stories that drive smarter decisions. This is a hands-on, client-facing role reporting to our Fractional CFO—with daily collaboration, high ownership, and plenty of room to innovate across BI, automation, and content.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain 3-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Develop and refine cash flow forecasts to help clients manage their liquidity.
- Conduct unit economics analysis to assess the profitability and viability of business models.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports that summarize client performance and insights.
- Construct complex financial models for public CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and eCommerce businesses.
- Comfortable engaging with founders/CEOs of startup businesses. Our typical client is doing $2 - 20mn in revenue
- Utilize financial analysis to create compelling content for social media, emails, whitepapers, and reports.
- Collaborate with the team to develop strategies and recommendations for clients.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and models.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Ideal candidate has 7 years professional experience, with at least 2-3 of these being in the CPG or eCommerce industries.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Experience with 3-statement modeling, cash flow forecasting, and unit economics analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear and concise reports.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with BI or Looker Studio is a plus (one of your projects will be to connect all our financial models to one of these tools).
