Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Engineering Manager to lead and manage our growing tech team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep technical expertise and strong experience managing teams and delivering high-quality software.

You will be responsible for guiding architecture decisions, solving complex technical problems, and ensuring smooth execution across backend, frontend, and AI teams.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a tech team of:
- 2 Backend Engineers
- 2 Frontend Engineers
- 2 AI Engineers
- Own the entire software development lifecycle from planning to deployment
- Act as a hands-on technical leader (coding, code reviews, architecture decisions)
- Solve complex technical challenges and unblock the team
- Ensure tasks are delivered on time, with high quality and scalability
- Improve engineering processes, standards, and best practices

Requirements:

- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go) and Python (must-have)
- Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and scalable architectures
- Experience working with cloud platforms:
- AWS, GCP, or Azure
- DigitalOcean
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have:

- Experience working with AI/ML engineers and AI-powered systems
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Startup or fast-paced product development experience
