About Position: Position: Full-Stack Developer (React Native + Python / FastAPI / AWS) Role Overview: We're looking for a mid- to senior-level Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in React Native and Python (FastAPI), familiar with AWS cloud architectures, and passionate about writing elegant, clean, and scalable code. You'll join a cross-functional global team (Brazil, USA, Dubai, Spain, Ukraine, Colombia, and more) responsible for building new, complex features for the next phase of PhilSocial — while maintaining and improving current modules of our social media platform. You'll work remotely and collaborate daily with our Tech Lead in Brazil and Corporate Teams in the US and Dubai. Responsibilities: - Develop new features and modules for the PhilSocial mobile app (React Native + Expo / CLI). - Maintain and refactor existing code with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. - Implement RESTful and asynchronous APIs using FastAPI, aligned with DDD and Hexagonal Architecture principles. - Collaborate with designers, blockchain engineers, and backend specialists to build seamless user experiences. - Contribute to system architecture discussions and participate in technical design reviews. - Write well-tested, documented, and maintainable code following Clean Code / SOLID practices. - Troubleshoot production issues and optimize API performance on AWS (Fargate, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.). - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews across time zones. Requirements: Frontend / Mobile (React Native): - React Native (Expo & CLI) - Zustand (state management) - MMKV (persistent storage) - React Query (data fetching & caching) - TypeScript Backend (Python / FastAPI): - FastAPI, Pydantic, Async I/O - Domain-Driven Design (DDD) - SOLID principles - Hexagonal architecture - REST / GraphQL API design - AWS (Lambda, Fargate, EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront) Nice to Have: - Experience with Web3 / Blockchain integrations - Familiarity with smart contracts or Solid protocol Leadership Skills: - Ability to design scalable systems and make key technical decisions. - Experience leading 2–8 developers with accountability for delivery. - Clear communication, mentoring, and Agile mindset.
