The Role This is a high-ownership, high-velocity engineering role. As a senior full-stack engineer on our product and AI team, you'll build new tools and experiences that give entrepreneurs real leverage — from conversational business planning to smart funding recommendations, automated documents, and personalized dashboards. You'll work directly with the founder and a tight product/design team. No bureaucracy. No layers. Just building, shipping fast, and seeing your work used by hundreds of thousands of people. What You'll Do: - Build and ship new features using modern web technologies and AI APIs. - Integrate AI into user-facing flows — conversational builders, assistants, recommendations. - Contribute across Skip's product stack: React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Supabase. - Rapidly prototype, test with real users, and iterate based on data and feedback. - Work closely with product, design, and support to uncover what actually moves the needle. - Help shape the architecture and UX of Skip's AI Cofounder product. - (Optional/Secondary) Explore RAG, embeddings, or personalization systems — only if interested. About You: - 5+ years of engineering experience, with strong experience shipping production features. - Strong with TypeScript and React/Next.js. - Comfortable across the stack or eager to work full-stack. - Curious about AI and excited to integrate AI capabilities into real products. - Communicative, proactive, and collaborative — you're comfortable working closely with product and design. - You care about impact: you want your work to help real entrepreneurs build real businesses.
