Position Mission

Are you passionate about electrical engineering, looking for technical challenges, and want to join a global company that leads in technology and innovation? ABB is looking for a Project Engineer to join the Electrification (EL) division. If you have experience with gas-insulated medium-voltage panels and want to work on high-impact and complex projects, this is your opportunity

Your Responsibilities

- Develop medium-complexity electrical engineering projects by defining scope, timeline, and overseeing all project phases.

- Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques and procedures, preparing execution plans and material lists.

- Implement and monitor project execution, ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and schedule standards.

- Conduct technical studies, prepare reports, and propose improvements to meet project requirements.

- Perform technical inspections and keep manuals and technical documentation up to date.

- Support contract management activities, including scope review, risk assessment, and progress reporting.

Your Background

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Automation Engineering.

- Advanced/intermediate English proficiency.

- Experience in the electrical design and specification of medium-voltage panels.

- Knowledge of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) for protection and control.

- Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) medium-voltage panels.

- Advanced Spanish proficiency.
