Position Summary:

The Manager of Business Development – Latin America will develop Plaza Premium Group’s growth & initiatives across Central and South America, driving the expansion of our airport hospitality portfolio through organic growth and new market entry.

This role will spearhead the development of new airport hospitality concepts including PPG branded lounges, partner lounges, in-terminal hotels, dining, passenger services and technology solutions adapted to clients’ needs.

The candidate will also lead to identify potential partnerships or acquisitions in order to increase market presence, providing adequate supply for the demands of our sales partners and channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Market Expansion

- Update Central & South America’s expansion strategy, based on PPG’s global strategy and regional development targets.
- Drive expansion of Plaza Premium Group’s product portfolio across key airports in Central & South America.
- Identify and develop new market entry opportunities, including untapped airports or underserved terminals.

Business Development

- Support negotiations, contract development, and with the proposal delivery.
- Manage deal structuring, pricing models, and partnership agreements in alignment with operational and financial goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on feasibility assessments, market research, and competitor benchmarking.
- Develop financial proformas, business cases, and pricing structures for new ventures.
- Present business models and recommendations to Regional Director for approval before presentation to Global HQ / Investment Committee
- Collaborate with legal counsel to negotiate and review lease agreements, joint venture terms, and commercial contracts.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, real estate, or related field (MBA a plus).
- Trilingual: English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, or hospitality development within aviation, travel, or real estate sectors.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations and build long-term partnerships.
- Strong understanding of airport infrastructure and regulatory environments in Central & South America.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and financial acumen.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
