We make elite content for startup founders, VC firms, and tech companies who want to sound smart and funny — not cringe and corporate.
We're a remote, async team of high-performers who value clarity, trust, and getting sh*t done. This is our first-ever full-time admin/ops hire, and you'll be foundational to how we grow.
Your Role and Impact
You'll collaborate with our writers, editors, account managers, and founder (hi ) to keep the content train running on time. You'll also be the glue between our client relationships and production workflows.
- What you'll own:Client communication: Be the calm, reliable, upbeat point of contact in Slack, WhatsApp, or email.
- Editorial calendar management: Track deadlines, assignments, and milestones in Assembly (and Google Sheets).
- Copy editing + approvals: Double-check client-facing docs before they ship — typos fear you.
- Operational upkeep: Update tracking sheets, design SOP/workflows, and delivery pipelines. Make chaos organized.
- Proactive systems building: You'll improve what's broken, systematize what's messy, and design what's missing.
- Fire prevention: Spot problems before they escalate. When something breaks, you fix it fast.

- Slack + WhatsApp (team + client communication)
- Loom, Zoom, Notion (light)
Familiarity with tools like La Growth Machine, Crunchbase, or PitchBook is a bonus but not required.
- You'll Thrive Here If:You're detail-obsessed — like, you probably got straight A's and found typos in your teacher's instructions.
- You're funny and friendly, but ruthless with your checklist / "type A".
- You've got great taste and can tell good content from "meh" content.
- Damn near perfect english (written and spoken)
- You've worked with teams across multiple time zones.
- You're self-managed and reliable in a high-trust, async environment.
- You love building systems and refining workflows just as much as working with people.
- Bonus: You're familiar with startup culture, tech, or VC content.
Location & Working HoursRemote
- Required availability: 8/9 AM – 4/5 PM EST (New York time)
- Unlimited PTO, with prior notification and manager approval required.
- Observes major U.S. holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4)
- Flexibility for local holidays if coordinated
Equipment & Setup
- You'll need a reliable laptop (we'll ask about model/specs during the process)
- A headset with a dynamic microphone for clear communication
- Reliable power + internet connection (bonus: backup systems if you're in a country with frequent outages)
Salary: $20,000-$24,000/year
