Oracle Cloud Senior Functional Consultant

About the Role
Genesis Consulting is expanding its Oracle Cloud Financials capability and seeks a Senior Functional Consultant with strong expertise across multiple financial modules — including Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, and Assets — to support complex enterprise environments. Our clients are some of the world’s leading companies and the candidate will be a part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior functional lead across financial modules, supporting both operational and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure service excellence across multiple geographies, meeting compliance and performance standards.
- Advise business leaders on best practices and process harmonization within Oracle Cloud Financials.
- Coordinate global month-end close and reporting processes.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to process governance.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle ERP applications, with at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience within Oracle ERP/Fusion Cloud.
- Hands-on and demonstrable experience and knowledge of core Oracle Financial modules, including Localizations for Brazil.
- Excellent understanding of Financial Reporting requirements and practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to speak in both Portuguese and English.
- Committed team player who is willing to share, learn and support fellow team members.
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
Other:
- Finance/Accounting background is ideal.
- English Mandatory.
