Astral Clocktower Studios is seeking an experiencedConsole Porting Developer strongly familiar with Unreal Engineto help bring our upcoming dark fantasy ARPG, Kristala, to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.You’ll work closely with our internal engineering and QA teams to optimize performance, integrate platform services (trophies, achievements, profiles, saves), and ensure both builds meet full certification compliance on schedule.Responsibilities: Build and maintain PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Kristala using Unreal Engine 5 Implement and test platform-specific services and UI Manage performance, packaging, and certification-readiness builds Collaborate with our existing dev and QA team to fix bugs and meet TRC/XR requirements Assist with submission and partner portal processes (Sony + Microsoft)Requirements: Solid Unreal Engine 4/5 development experience (C++ and Blueprint familiarity). At least one shipped console project on PS and XB Strong understanding of PS5 and/or Xbox X|S SDKs Experience with Razor/PIX Profiling Tools Familiarity with certification processes and common TRC/XR pitfalls Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a distributed team Self-sufficient problem solver with a detail-oriented mindsetBonus Points: Experience with both platforms (PS + Xbox) Prior work on Soulslike or action RPG titles Passion for animals, metal music, and dark fantasy worldsWhy Join Us?
