Position Alloy Welder | Soldador de ligas especiais Description The alloy welder is responsible to perform preparation, cleaning, handling, welding, brazing, and cutting using gas and electric welding machines, torches, grinders and other welding craft-related equipment to produce the end product on high alloy materials. Follows instructions, and work orders for the job from the Production Manager or its designee. Ensures all inhouse equipment are in calibration and maintain a proper stock of welding consumables. Ensure welding is done in accordance with WPS. Welds various metals (alloys) to form up the finished product. Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded with grinder and steel brushes. Uses burning and cutting equipment to dismantle assemblies and cut material to size and shape. Complete job documentation and weld maps as required for tracking purposes. Complete and turn in timesheets for job cost tracking in a timely manner. Varying degrees of precision and control is required. Support assembly functions as required by the Production Manager.
