This position ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations while delivering excellent customer service. The Cashier Manager works closely with students, faculty, staff, and external entities to maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, and assist with routine and non-routine tasks in the Office of the Bursar. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Provide all accounting and financial reports and documents needed by the school's external auditors. Ultimately responsible for all of the accounting related functions in the Bursar's Office. Manage a team of 2 Cashiers and 1 Senior Accountant working on accounting related Bursar Functions. Evaluate Bursar Office financial transactions and do reconciliations working closely with General Accounting, AP and the Treasury Department. Maintain the Banner system managing the detail codes and the accounting strings related to them. Supervise the processing of refunds. Monitor the cashier's email box to ensure that all emails are answered in a professional manner. Maintain and write policies and procedures as they relate to Bursar's Office Follow all proper procedures and internal controls pertaining to the Student
