Our website is central to growth — and we're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented WordPress developer to help us ship landing pages, improve performance, and run A/B tests that drive conversions. If you thrive on fast iteration, clean builds, and working closely with designers and marketers, you'll love this role. What You'll Do Build & update WordPress marketing pages using native Gutenberg blocks + block patterns (no page builders). Implement a child theme and manage design tokens via theme.json (colors, typography, spacing, radii, buttons). Create reusable block patterns: Hero, Feature Grid, Logos, Stats, Testimonials, Pricing, FAQ (with schema), CTA, Simple Compare Table. Keep the site fast: JS Wire GA4 + GTM, set up redirects, XML sitemap, and basic schema. Use staging + Git for safe releases. Must-Have Skills (no page builders)WordPress block theme experience (child themes, theme.json, patterns). Gutenberg expert: block variations, pattern locking, template parts. Performance: font subsetting/self-hosting, image optimization (WebP/AVIF), dequeueing assets, caching/CDN. HTML/CSS (SASS) + vanilla JS (small per-page scripts only). GA4/GTM, SEO basics (titles/meta/schema). Staging workflow. Fluent English. Lighthouse/Web Vitals debugging. What Success Looks Like (8–12 weeks)Pattern library live; marketing can build pages without you. Core Web Vitals green on Home + top LPs. Clean GA4 events; comparison LP shipped; redirects & sitemap clean.
