Role Oracle DBA – RAC_Dataguard 2 Required Technical Skill Set (Skill Name) Oracle, RAC, Dataguard, Goldengate, Exadata 3 No. of Requirements 1 4 Desired Experience Range 8+ Years Industry Experience 5 Location of Requirement Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have • DBA experience in Oracle and atleast one of the technologies : • Technical skills include Oracle RAC, Data Guard, OEM, Golden Gate, ASM, Cloud / VM, Engineered Appliance (Exadata), Linux, MySQL, and SQL Server, Cassandra, and Postgres. • Experience in Database management including infrastructure architecture, installation, upgrade, maintenance, performance tuning, backup, recovery and other database related activities. • Experience in Performing Database activities like Configuring Database Parameters, Configuring Backups, • Monitoring and managing Users and assigning privileges • Experience in grid and database patching with 12C/19C versions. Experience on Oracle /12c/19C data guard, golden gate technologies and work in production, staging, development environments. • Ideally Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) with more than 5 years’ experience with Oracle 19c. • Good knowledge and experience in Exadata migration. • Operating system experience in Linux. Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump). • Sound Practical Knowledge in Data guard, RMAN , Data Pump • Knowledge of Exadata compute and cell node • Architecture design principles. • Good Knowledge in Performance Tuning • Good problem solver focused and dedicated developer with ability to work on your own as well as with a team. • Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (11gR2). • Strong practical knowledge in ASM storage. • Maintain our SQL / PLSQL query and work closely with the application team. • Ensure DB availability. • Support and collaborate with product developers. • Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriate. Executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality. • Determine and document DB policies, procedures, and standards. • Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
