ABOUT THE ROLE
This person will be responsible for representing the local market and aligning with the headquarters team on governance policies for the Brazilian marketplace. This role balances effective seller management with business growth considerations and seller feedback, aiming to enhance sellers’ understanding and acceptance of platform governance policies, reduce compliance risks, and ensure a fair, efficient, and sustainable marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and the HQ Governance team to develop and update seller governance policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with seller management needs and local market requirements.
- Regularly monitor and analyze seller violation data to identify anomalies and areas for policy improvement, and drive continuous enhancements.
- Collect and address seller feedback, strengthen seller education and training, and foster strong relationships to promote transparency, trust, and accountability.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to continuously optimize platform operations and governance mechanisms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, online marketplaces, and seller dynamics
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Self-starter, a fast learner who has critical thinking
- English is mandatory, Mandarin is a plus
