Job Purpose Participates in engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.Job Description Design of the following equipment per project-specific design specifications and industry-recognized codes as well as the following relevant processes: Offshore and subsea structures Seafastening of structures Design of Installation Aids & Ancillary Equipment Assist as required for vessels mobilization Responsible for product documentation required for procurement, fabrication, and installation (Design reports and drawings) including: 3D models and drawings of single components and assemblies. Verification of design using hand calculations and FEA. Define Geometrical Product Specifications. Check interfaces including performing the tolerance stack-up studies. Design Reports to include product design justification. Perform Product Design Reviews with internal and external stakeholders. Cooperate with the assigned project team and other cross-functional teams to agree on the design solutions. Product expertise in the expertise area including advice on fabrication of design. Provide design input in technical meetings with Clients, Suppliers and other 3rd parties. You are meant for this job if: BA/MA degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanics, Machine Design, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or similar). Good communication skills to discuss aspects of the design with the stakeholders. Capable of solving technical issues. Analytical skills (experience in FEA software) is an asset.
