We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong Azure and Dev Ops experience to design, deploy, and support data infrastructure for our retail applications. The ideal candidate will combine data engineering skills with cloud automation and Dev Ops practices to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability in Azure. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain data and cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and application deployments. Support SQL databases and BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS). Automate cloud provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and scripting (Python, Power Shell). Manage and monitor resources in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other Azure services. Implement and maintain alerting and monitoring (Azure Monitor, Grafana). Ensure security, performance, and cost optimization of cloud environments. Collaborate with developers and business teams to align Dev Ops and data practices with business needs. Required Skills & Experience: 8–10+ years of IT experience with strong Azure Cloud and Dev Ops background. Hands-on experience with AKS, VMs, networking, and Azure databases. Strong SQL and data integration experience (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS). Proficiency in Python and Power Shell scripting. Experience with Terraform, Azure Dev Ops, or similar CI/CD tools. Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation. Familiar with cloud security and disaster recovery practices. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus. Experience in the retail energy (power & gas) industry is an advantage. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Team-oriented, proactive, and detail-driven.
