Data LeadLocation: Alphaville, São PauloWork Model: Hybrid (up to 2 days per week onsite)Key ResponsibilitiesLead data squads, ensuring both technical execution and strategic alignment with business needs.Define and implement data governance, data quality, and architecture strategies.Build and maintain scalable data governance and quality processes.Guarantee high standards of data quality, metadata management, and reliability.Generate studies, insights, and KPIs to monitor data accuracy and inform business decisions.Conduct alignment meetings, performance reviews, and individual development plans (IDPs).Act as the technical focal point in data projects, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.Promote best practices in data engineering, including pipelines, orchestration, and automation.Support cross-functional integration between product, engineering, and business stakeholders.Technical RequirementsStrong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.Expertise with Cloud Data Platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS preferred).Knowledge of conceptual and physical data modeling.Experience with tools such as Databricks, Spark, Hadoop, Airflow.Proficiency in data quality and data cataloging tools.Familiarity with data integration methodologies (ETL/ELT).Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).Leadership RequirementsProven experience as a technical leader or manager of data teams.Ability to conduct 1:1 meetings, feedback sessions, and performance reviews.Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and talent development.Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.A strategic, results-oriented mindset with the ability to inspire teams.
