Controlling and Risk Coordinator

Job Summary: The Controlling and Risk consultant coordinator will be responsible for controlling exposures related to the cotton trading operation in Brazil, including FX, NY, logistics, basis, among others. This professional will act as the focal point between the local office and headquarters, as well as correlated areas, modeling and controlling the onshore P&L and funding needs for sourcing and hedging. He/She will also be responsible for managing NY fixation orders with suppliers and customers, in conjunction with headquarters. Main Responsibilities: Control exposures pertinent to the cotton trading operation in Brazil (FX, NY, logistics, basis, among others). Control the local position and act as the focal point with headquarters and correlated areas in the Brazilian office. Model and control the onshore P&L (open book & realized), working hand in hand with correlated areas. Model funding needs for sourcing and hedging. Manage NY fixation orders with suppliers and customers, along with headquarters. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. Previous experience in commodities trading companies. Knowledge in controlling, risk and financial modeling. Ability to work in team and effective communication with different areas and hierarchical levels. Advanced English. Advanced excel. Knowledge in systems ITAS, Protheus and GATEC/Simplefarm is desirable. Experience: experience in commodity trading companies working in controlling or risk management directly or as a business partner.
