Tax Executive (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)- - - - - - - - - - - - Tax Executive will be responsible for managing and executing all activities related to Value Added Tax (VAT), including reporting, reconciliations, audit support, and compliance with Sri Lankan tax laws. This role requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to handle multiple reporting formats and deadlines efficiently. KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS Prepare monthly VAT Schedule 6 in coordination with the Export Department, including all export and remittance receivable details for VAT return submission. Liaise with all manufacturing plants to gather employee meal and transport cost data, prepare VAT liability reports, and post journal entries to allocate costs to relevant cost centers. Provide general and specific documentation for IRD audits and amend VAT returns when necessary. Maintain and reconcile the monthly input tax file with the VAT recoverable
