Payroll Specialist – Senior The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for leading end-to-end payroll operations for multiple clients across in Brazil. This role ensures full compliance with local regulations, accuracy in payroll processing, and timely delivery in accordance with client-specific agreements. The position is also key driving continuous process improvement, automation initiatives, and managing a cross-functional team.Job Summary – Senior Payroll Specialist (BIPO Brazil)Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Hybrid)Role type: Payroll Operational and client-facing contact window Language requirement: Intermediate-advanced English (spoken and written, for reporting and calls)Key Responsibilities:Procced and Operate the end-to-end payroll process (monthly, semimonthly , weekly) for multiple clients in MexicoEnsure compliance with local labor, tax, and social security laws in BrazilPerform payroll calculations in BIPO’s local payroll system, including taxes, benefits, savings funds, etc.Collaborate with clients’ finance, legal, and HR departments to resolve issues, audits, and special requests.Review and approve calculations for taxes, social security contributions, savings funds, Coupon, PTU and other benefits, and other applicable components.Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and performance indicators (KPIs) established with clients.Lead the onboarding and implementation of new clients or country operations.Identify and propose process improvements, aiming to automate and optimize payroll operations.Stay up to date with changes in labor and tax legislation Use BIPO Platform and Payroll Calculation System to do client daily delivery Keeping Client Daliy Communication and Client service delivery Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Brazil Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll operations Proven experience managing payroll and local Statutory Benefits in BrazilStrong knowledge of labor and tax regulations in BrazilAdvanced proficiency in Excel and payroll systems (e.g., Meta4, SAP, ADP, Runacetc.).Intermediate to advanced English for face to face client communication (required for regional client communication). Looking for someone extremely organized, urgent, accountable, and able to multitask under pressure.Nice to Have:Experience in outsourcing or shared services environments.Certification in payroll and Brazil labor law.Familiarity with ERP integration and automation tools.Has Similar Global/ Local Payroll company's work experience.
