Job Title: Head of Sales (Sales Manager)Department: Sales Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Location: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brazil Employment Type: Full-Time, CLT ou PJ Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Head of Sales to lead and scale our commercial operations in Brazil. This is both a strategic and operational role, ideal for someone who can design sales strategies and execute them personally. You will be working in a startup environment, not a corporate structure. This means high autonomy, fast decision-making, direct customer contact, and the flexibility to step outside your job title when needed. In addition to defining the sales strategy, you will be actively involved in prospecting, client visits, negotiations, and closing deals. This role is critical to the company's growth. You will have a direct impact on revenue generation, team building, and the development of scalable sales processes as the company expands. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Develop, implement, and continuously optimize clear, measurable sales strategies Define priorities by region, product, and customer segment Actively drive revenue through calls, on-site visits, and negotiations Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities Adapt strategies quickly based on real-world market feedback Field Sales Execution Personally visit clients and prospects when required Open new accounts through cold outreach and door-to-door visits Support and close strategic and high-value negotiations Represent the company professionally in the field Team Leadership & Coordination Coordinate daily with internal sales reps, freelancers, and partners Set targets, KPIs, and execution plans Lead from the front with active selling and field presence Train, motivate, and hold the team accountable for results CRM, Processes & Reporting Work in a structured manner with the CRM system (Hub Spot is essential)Monitor pipeline, conversion rates, ticket size, and individual performance Report results, forecasts, and action plans to management Ensure sales activities align with operational and logistical capacity Startup & Operational Support Operate effectively in a fast-paced startup with changing priorities Understand core operational and logistical processes to support sales execution Support operations when needed to remove bottlenecks Collaborate closely with finance, operations, and marketing teams Contribute to improving internal processes as the company scales Requirements Must-Have Proven experience as a Head of Sales, Sales Manager, or senior B2 B sales professional Strong ability to build and execute sales strategies Comfortable with frequent calling and door-to-door sales Highly results-driven and accountable Flexible mindset suited to a startup environment Fluent Portuguese and good English skills Solid CRM and pipeline management experience (Hub Spot is essential) Nice-to-Have Experience in horeca, wholesale, FMCG, or food & beverage Experience in early-stage or scaling companies Compensation & Rewards Competitive base salary Strong performance-based bonus structure Clear and direct link between results and compensation Long-term growth opportunities as the company scales Who This Role Is For This role is for someone who: Thrives in a startup environment Is flexible, hands-on, and solution-oriented Builds strategies and executes them personally Is motivated by performance-based rewards Takes full ownership of sales performance and outcomes
