SQL Architect

Job Title: SQL Architect Role Type: Solution Architect / Technical Architect Experience Requirements 15+ years of overall IT experience 10+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure , including: Azure Migrate Azure SQL (IaaS / PaaS) Azure Storage Azure Key Vault Azure IAM Primary Skills & Responsibilities Demonstrate strong proficiency and hands-on expertise in delivering high-quality architecture designs using standard architecture frameworks Conduct AS-IS application assessments , design target-state architectures , and obtain approvals from client Architecture Review Boards Perform on-premises and public cloud infrastructure assessments using Azure Migrate Drive Azure cloud solutioning for large-scale, complex migration programs Ensure proposed solutions align with: Azure strategy Stakeholder management Business, Application, and Infrastructure architecture Commercial value considerations (value for money; excluding cost modeling) Work across multiple industry domains, including: Banking Healthcare Insurance Analyze and understand customer infrastructure landscapes Design and implement Azure Landing Zone architectures Provide Azure target architectures , including: Bill of Materials (BoM) Pricing and licensing details Create Azure solution architecture diagrams , covering: All Azure services High-Level Design (HLD) Low-Level Design (LLD) Troubleshoot Azure and Windows environments, including: Processor Networking Clusters I/O Memory-related issues Secondary Skills Design infrastructure and data storage solutions Design business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) solutions Design identity, governance, and monitoring solutions Collaborate with internal teams, customer stakeholders, and project managers to understand migration requirements and deliver appropriate solutions Certifications (Good to Have) AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
