You’ll own the technical solution end-to-end, from architecture to delivery, ensuring scalability, quality, and alignment with business goals. WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide technical direction and architectural oversight for backend (Python) and frontend (React) components; Provide insights about AI utilization in assisting users; End-to-end ownership of the technical solution; Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure high-quality implementation; Design scalable, maintainable architectures leveraging Heroku (initially) and AWS (long-term); Ensure clean, secure, and testable code through code reviews and best practices; Mentor engineers and define development standards across the project; Support CI/CD setup, environment provisioning, and DevOps coordination; Collaborate with PM and Designer to define the technical roadmap and support inception activities. MUST HAVES 6+ years of software engineering experience; 2+ years in a lead or architect role. Strong backend development experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django); Proven experience with React and TypeScript ; Solid understanding of cloud development and deployment (Heroku, AWS, GCP) environments; Experience with modular architectures, APIs, and system integrations; Excellent communication skills in distributed, cross-functional teams; Advanced English and availability for EST overlap; 1+ years building with LLMs, both locally-hosted and API-based (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.); Expertise in Python and libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face; Hands-on experience with agentic pipelines, RAG, vector search, and prompt engineering.
