Clinical Research Associate Role Overview

This Clinical Research Associate (CRA) position is a vital part of our team, responsible for site selections and study-specific start-up activities. If you have experience in CRA or extensive SSU experience, we encourage you to apply.

Location: This role requires being based in the UK with nationwide travel. A minimum of 50% overnight travel may be required.

About the Job:

  1. Support Country SSU Strategy: Collaborate with the SSU Team Lead, SSU Manager, and Feasibility Manager to ensure timely start-up activities from country allocation until site greenlight at assigned sites.
  2. Conduct Site Selection Visits: Verify site eligibility for specific studies and facilitate preparation and collection of site and country level documents.
  3. Main Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for trial sites during site selection, study start up, and IRB/IEC and HA submissions preparation.
  4. Negotiate Investigator Payments: Support the preparation of financial contracts between clients and investigational sites and investigators.
Requirements
  • Right to Work in the UK: Must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
  • Experience: Up to 2 years pharmaceutical industry experience or other relevant experience (NHS or Academic).
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of drug development processes specifically clinical trials/research and international standards (GCP/ICH, FDA, EMEA).
  • Monitoring Experience: 12+ months' monitoring experience or 2+ years experience in a SSU type role required.
