Lead Well Intervention Engineer

The primary objective of this position is to contribute to the success of well intervention activities. This involves providing engineering support for designing, planning, and executing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes.
This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, service providers, and offshore personnel to optimize well performance, maintain integrity, and support production enhancement strategies.
Main Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive well intervention programs, including operational procedures, equipment requirements, and risk assessments.
- Offer engineering support during planning and execution of well intervention operations (wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, stimulation, well testing, and fishing).
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies regarding HSE and well integrity.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for proposed interventions, identifying risks and mitigation measures.
- Prepare detailed estimates, schedules, and materials forecasts for intervention operations.
- Monitor and analyze intervention performance, providing lessons learned and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support the development of long-term well integrity and production optimization strategies.
- Liaise with contractors, service companies, and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of well intervention techniques, well integrity principles, and downhole tools.
- Good understanding of industry standards (API, ISO) and well control principles.
