We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bosun to join our team on one of our special purpose vessels. As a key member of the deck crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of ship operations.

  1. Lead and supervise the deck crew in their daily duties, providing guidance and support as needed.

  2. Conduct regular maintenance of the ship's deck equipment and areas, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.

  3. Assist with mooring and anchor operations as required, working closely with the Chief Officer to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  4. Ensure all safety protocols and maritime regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all crew members.

  5. Coordinate with the Chief Officer for deck operations planning, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to optimize vessel performance.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in a Bosun position on a special purpose vessel.

  • Valid STCW certificates and seaman's book, demonstrating your commitment to regulatory compliance.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, allowing seamless communication with international crew members and stakeholders.

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive crew dynamic.
