Data Processing Job Description

We are seeking an experienced data processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geomatics, surveying science or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect raw data quality and report any non-compliance to the supervisor.
  • Analyze survey logs compiled by data acquisition crews.
  • Process acquired data sets using specialized software.
  • Maintain detailed processing logs and record offsets used during processing.
  • Communicate with teams and advisers to discuss processing requirements.
  • Prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
  • Follow established processing sequences from procedures or supervisor instructions.
  • Verify dataset integrity at each stage of processing.
  • Frequently discuss requirements and final deliverables with the supervisor.
  • Adhere to industry standards for quality management systems.
  • Create or modify charts as per project needs.
  • Contribute to the company's Quality and HSE systems and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English (desired).
  • Degree in Geomatics, Surveying Science or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in survey disciplines, either in industry, military or academic settings.
  • Satisfactory completion of competence criteria for Data Processor Grade II.
  • Approximately 12 months of experience, including 80 offshore operational days as a Data Processor Grade II.
