Job OverviewThe Technical Superintendent role oversees the technical management of a fleet of Offshore Supply Vessels. This involves managing daily operations, budgeting, survey schedules, vessel assessments, inspections, and docking.
Main Responsibilities- Manage daily operations, maintenance, and repair of vessels to ensure they remain operational.
- Evaluate readiness and performance with vendors and teams.
- Assess dry-docking, repairs, and surveys; prepare and submit budgets for approval.
- Attend to vessel dry-docking, repairs, and surveys; determine specifications.
- Provide post-evaluation reports and summaries of works performed.
- Source technical and operational supplies.
- Monitor vessel technical status and class certifications.
- Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer experience on offshore vessels.
- Class 1 or Class 2 COC, D.P. Maintenance Certificate, High Voltage Certificate.
- Relevant sea-going work experience as Chief Engineer/Marine Engineer.
- Good understanding of Classification Rules or Saudi Aramco requirements.
- Ability to identify root causes of technical issues and plan recovery actions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
