Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated expert in environmental modeling with an extensive background in agricultural research, particularly in row crops such as soy and cotton.
Develop sophisticated models to assess the impact of various factors on crop growth and yield, utilizing Python for data processing and machine learning to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
Build and deploy scalable data solutions on the AWS platform, ensuring reliability and performance. Collaborate with agronomists and stakeholders to integrate domain knowledge into modeling efforts.
Conduct research on environmental variables affecting crop performance, utilizing remote sensing data to enhance model accuracy and predictive capabilities. Present analytical findings and model outputs to technical stakeholders through comprehensive reports and visualizations.
Mentor junior experts in best practices for environmental modeling and data analysis, staying updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
