Junior Python Developer Position

We are working with the largest locomotive manufacturing company in the West and one of the world's leading software producers. They operate in 50 countries and have 27,000 employees worldwide.

This is an on-site position available only in Belo Horizonte and Contagem.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development team with basic Python scripting and small coding tasks.
  • Learn how to use Terraform to define and deploy infrastructure components.
  • Help with configuring cloud services in AWS or Azure, guided by more experienced team members.
  • Follow instructions to update or maintain existing infrastructure or application code.
  • Participate in onboarding sessions, internal trainings, and technical workshops.
  • Work with Git/GitHub: cloning repositories, committing changes, creating pull requests.
  • Help with writing or updating technical documentation for internal use.
  • Run basic tests and report bugs or issues to the team.
  • Shadow senior developers or DevOps engineers to understand real-world projects and workflows.
  • Participate in Agile sprints and collaborate with a team of innovative engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • +2 years of experience working with Python.
  • Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
  • 1+ year of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform preferred.
  • Advanced English.
