Job Overview

We seek a skilled Test Technician to join our team. As a Test Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss technical matters.
  • Set up and operate various test stands to verify product functionality.
  • Configure test equipment for special tests as needed.
  • Interpret and record test results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recognize and isolate test equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Take precise electrical measurements to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level.
  • Read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
  • Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff.
  • Perform technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Use limited varieties of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment.
  • Perform entry-level troubleshooting, calibration, or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
  • Participate on project teams to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance, and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures.
  • Support activities through the resolution of problems and preparation and maintenance of documentation.
  • Manage workflow throughout the area to achieve team objectives.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot non-conformances to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Fabricate hardware, equipment, tools, or prototypes from drawings or sketches.
  • Estimate labor, material, and manufacturing costs for building and repair of products or process enhancements.
  • Record accurate time changes, test data, parts usage, and other relevant information.
  • Utilize multiple databases to create and use necessary information for decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in technical software and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
