Windfarm Project Lead

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the commissioning of wind farm controllers and ensure seamless integration with grid codes.

The successful candidate will:

  • Commission wind farm controllers and interfaces, prepare for grid code testing and optimize processes within the team
  • Collaborate with clients' experts to define project requirements, solutions and identify areas for improvement
  • Gain experience in running and closing windfarm controller projects, developing knowledge and skills along the way
  • Support negotiations with customers, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
About the Role
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology or related field is required
  • Extensive knowledge of wind farm controller tools and processes is essential
  • Proficiency in Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, OPC UA, DNP3 and Grid operator interfaces is necessary
  • A certificate as an electrically skilled person is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of wind turbine technologies is advantageous
  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills are crucial for success
  • Fluency in English is essential, with Spanish and other languages being an added value
  • Intercultural understanding and ability to work in multitask teams is vital
