Interior Project Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced fit-out foreman to lead our team of tradespeople in delivering high-end interior projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction and wants to take their career to the next level.

About the Role

  • This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing daily site operations, supervising tradespeople, and ensuring quality and productivity in every task.
  • You will oversee the execution of interior finishes and report progress, snags, and safety matters directly to your site leadership team.
  • The position requires a six-day working week, which is mandatory for all site-based roles.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Review daily schedules and assign work based on priorities and skills.
  2. Lead teams in fit-out trades including marble, woodwork, metal, glazing, partitions, ceilings, and painting.
  3. Interpret and explain technical drawings to ensure accurate and timely task completion.
  4. Ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with HSE policies.
  5. Manage tools, materials, and manpower to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  6. Conduct quality checks, resolve minor site issues, and escalate critical ones to the Site Manager.
  7. Record and report daily site progress, delays, and corrective actions.
  8. Train, coach, and mentor team members to develop their technical and safety competencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years' hands-on experience in the construction industry.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a fit-out foreman managing multiple trades on high-end projects.
  • Previous experience in luxury interior fit-out is a must (hospitality, retail, commercial, or high-end residential).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills – able to coordinate diverse teams and subcontractors.
  • Solid understanding of technical drawings, construction materials, and interior finishes.
  • Proven track record in productivity improvement, quality management, and safety enforcement.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to write daily reports in English.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate is a plus.
