Imagine a role that combines creativity with technical expertise. As a tech artist, you will bridge the gap between creative and engineering teams in game development.

This position requires an individual with a unique blend of artistic and programming skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing production tools for VR teams;
  • Supporting artists and engineers in the 3D art pipeline;
  • Assisting in asset performance and validation;
  • Solving complex technical issues during development;
  • Developing and maintaining resources and pipelines with developers;
  • Ensuring final art meets visual resolution requirements;
  • Working within game engine limits to curate file sizes, polygon counts, and loading speeds;
  • Preparing and designing character and props simulations such as cloths, effect emitters, and ragdoll collision;
  • Optimizing environments and establishing physics barriers;
  • Researching and overseeing rendering technique implementation;
  • Developing frame rate and memory performance;
  • Monitoring game performance;
  • Maintaining technical documentation.
Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Deep knowledge in Maya and Unity 3D software;
  • Solid Python and C# programming skills;
  • Great Shading programming proficiency;
  • Solid Unreal Engine and C++ knowledge.
Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Familiarity with Google G Suite, Monday, Slack, and Github;
  • Previous knowledge or experience with VR and AR content is desirable;
  • A passion for Games, Movies, TV, Art, Animation, Electronics, RPGs, Theater, and narrative experiences would be a great plus;
  • Experience in technology and/or content development/environment, or related fields.
