Logistics Operations Manager
Job SummaryThis role involves managing the movement of goods between distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and other key locations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
- Monitor transportation costs, performance metrics, and KPIs to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
- Analyze transportation routes, modes of transport, and delivery schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in TMS software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
