Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our communication efforts across the area.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to increase understanding of our organization among all stakeholders.

  • Develop strategic communication plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • BUILD strong relationships with people, communities, and organizations to promote our mission and strengthen our reputation.
  • EXTEND the reach of our communication through unified messaging and channels that reflect our values and goals.
  • Oversee the development of communication plans at the Area level through alignment with our worldwide strategy.
  • Help leaders, employees, volunteers, and partners understand audience needs, values, and experiences to increase understanding.
  • Support the effort to identify, develop, and maintain key relationships of mutual understanding and trust with leaders, organizations, and influencers.
  • Manage a team who will work to extend the reach of our message by coordinating and assuring the effective use of our channels at the area level.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, or a related field; Master's or graduate degree preferred.
  • Professional-level experience in people management, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in developing, designing, and executing strategic communication plans.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Able to think critically and solve problems.
  • Experience in crisis management.
