Dining Service Professional

The role of a Commis is to deliver exceptional service to guests by supporting bartenders, servers, and other colleagues in serving and clearing food and beverage orders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage guest queries and respond to their needs promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items and products offered.
- Follow standard procedures for reporting issues and concerns.
- Adhere to high standards of grooming and personal hygiene.
- Assist callers with queries and take messages as needed.
- Complete opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure equipment is kept clean and polished at all times.
- Requisition necessary chemicals and supplies for daily operations.
- Sanitize and clean bars thoroughly before completing duties.
- Replenish bar supplies, including liquor, fruit, ice, and dishes, as required.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation at all times.
Required Qualities:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to various work situations and tasks.
