Objective: To manage the finance function in Brazil and oversee a team of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that accurately reflect the company's financial position.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for growth.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.
Team Management
  • Lead and motivate a team of finance professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Oversee the implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and report any potential risks or irregularities to senior management.
Process Improvement
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate financial processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are preferred.
