Backend Software Engineer Opportunity

Our organization is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality backend services. This role offers a unique blend of impact and autonomy, allowing you to collaborate with talented peers, partner with product teams, and see your work directly improve how customers manage complex IT environments.

  • Design and build scalable, efficient, and reliable backend services using Kotlin
  • Develop APIs that are easy to consume, well-documented, and follow best practices
  • Write clean, tested, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards
  • Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions that align with business objectives
  • Refactor and modernize legacy logic to ensure it remains relevant and effective

Requirements:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development
  • Production-level experience with Kotlin
  • Experience with SaaS application development, modern cloud services, API-driven systems, relational databases at scale, and containerized, microservice-based systems
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
  • Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Redis, Apache Kafka, and Git
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, API design, unit testing, integration testing, TDD, Agile development, system design, and CI/CD
