Overview of a Senior Site Reliability Engineer Role

We seek an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining platform reliability, implementing proactive solutions to minimize system downtimes and performance bottlenecks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Maintain Infrastructure: Develop scalable infrastructure across cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Automate Monitoring and Alerting: Utilize modern SRE practices to automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
  • Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines for robust service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability during deployments.
  • Analyze Incidents: Conduct thorough root cause analysis for production incidents and implement long-term solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Expertise in monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go).
  • Fluent in English (C1/C2).
