The role of a Surface Production Specialist is pivotal in meeting production targets by controlling and monitoring mill equipment. This involves applying technical expertise to resolve problems and deliver results for the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mill processing equipment on-site to optimize Potash operations.
  • Adhere to direction and guidance from the mill shift supervisor and IOC mill controller.
  • Maintain a strong safety ethos throughout all tasks.
  • Identify actual or potential maintenance/operational issues and take appropriate action.
  • Respond to emergency situations using established standards for potash operation.
  • Conduct a detailed handover with the incoming mill operator to ensure that all process and plant conditions are understood.
