We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Employment Tax Specialist. As part of this key role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on employment tax and compliance to clients.

">Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance to external teams on tax and social security implications of employment.
  • Client Guidance: Assist clients in understanding employer reporting and withholding obligations.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Advise on the tax and social security treatment of employer-provided compensation and benefits.
  • Compliance and Planning: Provide advice on delivering employee compensation and benefits in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Health Checks and Audits: Conduct health checks or pre-audit reviews and assist with post-audit remediation projects.
  • Fringe Benefit Tax Returns: Prepare fringe benefit tax returns or equivalent agreements, including related data analysis.
  • Contingent Worker Management: Advise on contingent worker populations, focusing on controls, processes, and governance.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulations, providing timely updates to clients.
  • Account Management: Proactively manage client accounts, identify opportunities for growth, and maintain regular communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in employment tax, payroll tax, or related advisory services.
  • Preferred Experience: Preferred experience working with multinational clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional tax qualifications (e.g., CPA, CTA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
