Latam Labor Portfolio Manager Job

We are looking for a Latam Labor Portfolio Manager to join our legal team based in Sorocaba, Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full latam labor portfolio including judicial and administrative proceedings, individual and collective actions, class actions, and settlements.
  • Provide preventive labor law advisory to internal stakeholders ensuring compliance with Brazilian and Latam regulations.
  • Actively support programs related to prevention of occupational disease and health & safety matters in collaboration with HR and EHS.
  • Monitor and analyze litigation trends KPIs and data to identify risks optimize outcomes and propose process improvements.
  • Manage and oversee external law firms and litigation budgets ensuring efficiency and accountability.
  • Ensure proper use of litigation management systems and accurate reporting of cases and provisions.
  • Support regional and global compliance and audit requirements related to labor and employment.
  • Represent the Legal Department in negotiations with unions labor authorities and the Ministry of Labor or Public Prosecutor's Office.
  • Availability to travel as required to support Latam operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Law and active license to practice in Brazil.
  • Specialization and strong previous experience in Labor Law are mandatory requirements.
  • Master s degree in Labor Law is desirable.
  • Solid experience managing judicial and administrative labor proceedings and providing labor law advisory.
  • Professional background in multinational companies preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Experience working with data management and process management systems are mandatory.
  • Proven ability to manage external law firms and control legal spend.
  • Strong business orientation and ability to partner with HR EHS and business leaders.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable for broader Latam scope.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate across diverse cultures.
  • Availability to travel within Latin America.
