The role of a Senior Accountant is multifaceted and includes various accounting tasks, such as journal entries, payroll management, tax preparation, financial reporting, and coordination with external auditors for statutory audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries across different entities, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
  • Oversee and support payroll activities to guarantee correct payments and adherence to internal control processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure social security compliance and mitigate any associated risks.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize workpapers for external fiscal consultants to meet tax compliance requirements.
  • Compile and present financial reports along with their supporting schedules.
  • Conduct statutory audits in conjunction with external and internal auditors to maintain the highest standards of accountability.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in accounting software programs, including ERPs like PeopleSoft and SAP.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding communication skills, proactive approach, independence, and team spirit are essential qualities for this role.
