This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of the software development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, complex systems using Java-based microservices.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and secure microservices, providing support and maintenance for existing services to ensure high availability and performance, implementing best practices in software design, architecture, and coding standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, mentoring and guiding junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Microservices: Create efficient, reliable, and scalable microservices that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure Service Availability: Provide timely support and maintenance for existing services to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement Best Practices: Adhere to industry-standard coding practices, follow established architectural guidelines, and stay up-to-date with emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Mentor Junior Developers: Share knowledge and expertise to help junior developers improve their skills and grow professionally.
Requirements:
  • University Degree: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Fundamentals in Object-Oriented Design: Proven understanding of object-oriented design principles, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Java Skills: Strong experience with Java, including knowledge of RESTful services and microservices architecture.
  • Spring Framework: Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring MVC.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
  • DevOps Tools: Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure.
  • NoSQL Database Experience: Knowledge of NoSQL databases like CosmoDB/MongoDB.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
