Job Title: Cloud-Ready Senior Software Developer

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of modern web applications using React and Node.js.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex full-stack applications using React (frontend) and Node.js (backend)
  • Lead technical decision-making, from database schema design to infrastructure setup
  • Develop and maintain scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Own deployments and infrastructure (AWS), including CI/CD and monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product design, requirements, and roadmaps
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor mid-level/junior developers
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security risks, and scalability issues
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
  • Strong expertise in React, including component architecture, hooks, state management
  • Deep experience with Node.js and Express, including API design and performance optimization
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
  • Experience integrating third-party services like Stripe for payments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; experience mentoring or managing devs is a plus
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset
