The Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead iterative development, validation, and deployment of AI/ML models. You will work closely with ML scientists to find and solve engineering pain-points by building scalable, general-use platforms.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML models to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define a long-term vision for scaling ML/AI applications in production.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and act as a technical leader for the ML engineering domain.
- Design and develop innovative predictive models, metrics, and dashboards to uncover actionable insights.
- Visualize and report data findings creatively in a variety of visual formats that provide insights to the organization.
- Influence how we approach business challenges and opportunities by driving the adoption of a data-driven mindset.
- Develop reusable code aimed at delivering on future goals faster and more reliably.
- Support and evolve the Advanced Analytics and Data Science roadmap by leveraging industry research, best practices, and emerging tools/technology.
Ideal Profile
- A minimum of 4+ years in the Data space as an analyst, engineer, scientist, or equivalent.
- 4+ years working with a large-scale (1B+ Rows) Data Warehouse, preferably in a cloud environment (GCP, BigQuery, BigTable preferred).
- Expert Java, Python, SQL, and Advanced GCP (especially Gemini/Vertex AI).
- Highly skilled with distributed processing architecture and ML/Data workflow management platform (Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Kubeflow, MLFlow, etc).
- Machine Learning and AI, including regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, NLP, and Optimization.
