Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant cloud infrastructure to support mission-critical applications.

This is a flexible role that can be structured as full-time or part-time depending on needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure as Code: Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • CICD Pipelines: Own and optimize deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and scale workloads with ECS/Fargate or EKS (Kubernetes).
  • Networking & Security: Configure VPCs, subnets, security groups, IAM roles, and enforce least-privilege access.
  • Compliance & Monitoring: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting across AWS services (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.) with compliance-grade rigor.
  • Scalability & Performance: Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and auto-scaling strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and client teams to ensure deployments are seamless and infrastructure supports rapid iteration.
  • Cost Optimization: Track and manage AWS costs, implement budgets and alerts, and recommend efficiencies.
Requirements
  • 3+ years professional experience with AWS in production environments.
  • Strong expertise with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with ECS/EKS, containerization, and Kubernetes best practices.
  • Hands-on with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Deep knowledge of VPC networking, IAM roles, and AWS security best practices.
  • Monitoring/logging setup on AWS (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
