Job Title: Deep Water Well Testing Professional

Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to lead and execute well test operations on rig, ensuring testing objectives are achieved and process safety is maintained.

This includes developing, planning, assessing, and executing the deep water well test program to achieve well test objectives for Brazil's deep water drilling campaign.

Responsibilities will include pre-planning all well test activities for the ultra-deepwater campaign, preparing the full Testing services Scope of Work, budgeting, Contractor evaluation during tender process, writing all well test Basis of Design, well test engineering proposals, and well test programs following API Standards and Procedures.

Additionally, the candidate will identify and procure interface requirements at an early stage of well test design/planning. This will include Smart Well Test Design which encompasses Flow Assurance, Sand design, and advanced PLT, Interference Test, Wireless Data Acquisition, Installation of PDG.

The successful candidate will also plan and implement Testing operations associated risks, update and highlight the risks to management in writing, develop Contingencies and ERP for Well test operations, take MOC when required, and be responsible for overall safety of Well Test Operations for Brazil.

Furthermore, the individual will lead Well Test Specific Project Risk Assessments and HAZOP/HAZID risk assessments, provide Fit for purpose solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore well testing and completions operations, with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience and a B.S. degree in Engineering. Additionally, they should possess a valid BOSIET and IWCF Well Intervention Certificate Course (Subsea Supervisor level).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), specifically Well Cat, PROSPER / Wellflo / Olga, BASIC Well Test Interpretation, Flow Assurance.
